Chemical
Testing
ECA performs
many types of chemical testing procedures and can usually find
an appropriate method for a given compound or group of compounds
if a procedure is not readily available. Often we are required
to check that a particular solvent or chemical meets the specification
provided by the supplier. Many times the supplier develops in-house
methodologies to assess their products and it requires both experience
and skill for our scientists to reproduce these methods in our
laboratory. The following is a list of our most commonly performed
chemical testing capabilities for our industrial clients:
- Gas Chromatography
(GC)
- High Pressure
Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
- Karl Fischer
Moisture Determination (KF)
- Gas Chromatography-Mass
Spectrometry (GC-MS)
- Scanning
Electron Microscopy/Energy Dispersive Xray Spectrscopy (SEM/EDXS)
- Fourier Transform
Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR)
- Ion Chromatography
(IC)
- Ion Coupled
Plasma/Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-AES)
- Atomic Absorption
Spectroscopy (AA, GFAA)
- Ultraviolet-Visible
Spectroscopy (UV-Vis)
- Titrimetry/Wet
Chemistry/Gravimetry
